SITE Selector invited to present at the North Carolina Economic Development Partnership

Working Smart

One of the advantages of going on road trips like the one we are currently on is that we are able to see people in their environment doing what they do. Meeting people at Select USA is fun, it can be informative, but it's really not the same thing as spending a day with people at their office and watching them operate. Today we were able to get a real feel for some of the challenges that EDOs and economic partnerships face daily.  This is enormously helpful input as we are already busy designing SITE Selector 2.0.  Next we will share this information with our product engineers as they decide what features to build next  in our never-ending effort to eliminate inefficiency from the site selection process.

I am amazed at how much these EDOs and partnerships are able to accomplish with the limited budgets that they typically have. It makes those of us at StageXchange pleased to know that we can provide them something --free-- that can make their lives easier. SITE Selector will be able to increase their visibility, extend their reach, and show their unique value in a comparative environment free from bias.

Keith Hopkins, CEO StageXchange at the EDPNC

The Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) focuses on recruiting new businesses to the state, supporting the needs of existing businesses, connecting exporters to global customers, helping small business owners get their start, and attracting tourists and visitors from all over the world.

Our visit to their offices provided us with much-needed insight into how partnerships operate. They were kind enough to answer our questions and give clarity to many of the challenges our tool is hoping to address.

Final Thoughts:

Our role at StageXchange is simple: we provide a platform for others to do do business.  Our SITE Selector product makes it easy for EDOs to connect directly to vetted projects while our EDO Search tool helps site selectors discover new communities.  We are proud of what we've accomplished thus far but we know we can always do better. We encourage economic developers to reach out to us for a demo or to ask any questions they may have. Our job is to help you streamline your operations and we have many methods of doing so. Just give us a call.
